FAQs

  • At Speech Buds Therapy, we provide high-quality, individualized speech therapy without the restrictions of insurance. This allows us to offer flexible scheduling, personalized treatment plans, and therapy focused entirely on your or your child’s needs—without limitations on session length or frequency. By staying independent, we can dedicate more time to effective treatment rather than insurance paperwork. While we do not bill insurance directly, we can provide a superbill for potential out-of-network reimbursement—check with your provider to see if this is an option for you.

  • Every child develops at their own pace, but if you notice your child struggling with speech, language, or communication skills compared to their peers, an evaluation may be helpful. Some common signs that speech therapy could benefit your child include:

    • Speech clarity issues – Difficulty being understood by others, even by family members.

    • Limited vocabulary or sentence structure – Using fewer words than expected for their age or struggling to form sentences.

    • Difficulty following directions – Trouble understanding or processing spoken language.

    • Social communication challenges – Difficulty with conversations, taking turns, or staying on topic.

    • Stuttering or disfluencies – Frequent repetitions of sounds, syllables, or words.

    • Struggles with certain speech sounds – Continuing to mispronounce sounds beyond the typical age for development.

If you have concerns, a speech-language evaluation can provide clarity and guidance. Early intervention is key, and we are happy to discuss your child’s needs to determine the best path forward. Feel free to contact us to schedule a consultation!
